My New Years Wish, From Dublin to Wherever You Are

My New Years Wish, From Dublin to Wherever You Are

May the coming year be filled with colour.

With red of lips and red of fire and reds of hair and danger.
Blue of skies and blue of water and sad blues and baby blues.
Green of envy and green of trees and greens of life and mold and foliage.
Yellow of sun and yellow of home and yellows of sand and cats eyes.
And sometimes neon pink and bloody maroon and startling violet and dirty brown and orange and mauve and cream and aquamarine.
And black and white and sometimes grey.
And always lined with silver, always burning gold.
And if you’re lucky, the purple of lingerie and the purple of royalty, and the purple of art.

May the coming year find you, and life, coloured, and colourful, and colouring outside the lines.
