I was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, the third of six noisy, artistic kids. From an early age I was interested in writing, spurred along by my parents and siblings. Alongside stories and poems, I write screenplays, musicals, songs, and anything else I can imagine.
In 2012 I travelled to London to work at the Olympics, and, won over by the beautiful weather and the cheery London commuters, I decided to stay. I completed my Masters in Creative Writing at City, University of London, writing the first draft of what would become my debut novel, Where the Line Breaks. During the day I run the daytime cafe at the Old Vic Theatre in Waterloo. By night, you’ll find me and my wife curled up watching a movie with a nice craft beer.
